Happy Halloween!

Image
Happy Halloween everyone!! This is one of my favorite days of the year. I love the costumes and  partying; however, if you’re not careful it can ruin your weight loss routine. Just make sure to be smart about the candy and booze guys. Trust me I am one who usually goes to several costume parties a year and I’ll eat the food at the parties and drink it up, its a party! The problem is you don’t think you’re eating much when you’re grazing through those candies and hors d’oeuvres but that is the worst thing you could do. Be conscience of the foods that are there and instead of grazing just grab a plate and place on the foods you want to try. Taking Breaks...

So it has been quite crazy recently and I apologize for the delay in an update. I’m trying my best to keep this going, I just have to get in a regular habit of writing a blog. Unfortunately seafood makes me swell and retain water really bad so I had to cut down on my seafood intake.  As far as my weight loss goes I still weigh about the same I’m currently at 266. Yes, it ...

P90X, Reese's and Hunger

Well, this is my first post here and I have to say I am hungry, I mean really hungry.  I had some cottage cheese and an apricot for breakfast and it wasn't enough. I come to work and know that just a few feet away from me are some chips, honey buns, candy, and other goodies that are very bad for me.    There are Reese's calling out my name - I don't usually crave things until I can't have them. Looking forward to making some chicken and dumplings tonight. I have managed to finish 6 days of P90x.   I can't really keep up with their speed but I am moving the entire time and am getting  my forms down pretty good.  I have identified a balance problem with my left side, and my right knee is my bad one, but it will all go away when all my fat disappears.  I do recommend the program, even if you cannot do everything right off the bat, because it gets you moving and sweating a lot, and you will eventually be able to do it all, I know that I wil...
