Thanksgiving Update!
So it’s been quite some time since I’ve updated and to be honest we’ve been stressed and busy. I figure it’s a good time to update everyone on what’s happening for the Carlsons. First, we’re in California safely. There were no major hiccups with the move other than we took a bit longer than expected to get here. We had estimated about 4 days but it was closer to 6 because Ron is not as confident in his driving skills as I am. We eventually traded and I drove the truck because he got to the point where he was barely going above 40 on the highway because of the wind. Turns out we didn’t pack the truck the best and with the wind things got shifted around from the truck being blown around. On the 4th day I said told him I couldn’t do this anymore and I took over after we shifted the truck around a bit to even out the load because it was starting to tilt to one side while driving, it was a bit frightening to watch lol.
