Veterans' Day

As a family member of an active duty military person I can tell you that it is a hard life. My brother is in the U.S. Airforce and he hasn’t been deployed yet but its still tough. I miss him every day of my life. Him and I are very close and I’m so thankful for that. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful little brother. He is my only sibling and I wouldn’t ask for anymore. I remember when he was born, I was so excited. My parents didn’t want to find out what the gender of the baby was so when he was born it was a surprise! His first deployment is coming up and due to the face he's active duty I am respectfully leaving his name out of my blog but I just wanted to take the time to thank him. 

Thank you little brother for being there for me. Thank you for taking a job that leads to my freedom as a U.S citizen. I know that you have always wanted to be in the Airforce but I also know that it takes a strong heart to be in the military especially voluntarily. You are an amazing person and you have so much ahead of you. I’m so thankful of all the moments I spend with you because they are so precious. I pray that you be careful whenever you are deployed, I pray that you stay safe wherever you are in life, and I pray that you continue becoming the good man that I see you growing up to be. You may be younger than me but you have taught me so much and I will always be grateful for it. I know today is for our Veterans but I want to thank you anyway because I feel this day should honor all members of the armed services. I love you little brother and I am so proud of you!

     Helloooooo so yeah its been quite some time since I last posted and to be honest I've been really focused on trying to get my work organized. I suffer from poor time management and just poor management in general. I think the last time I posted was sometime in February and as stated then we were going through a lot of crappiness financially and while that has all been resolved we're still recovering from it and trying to get back to saving as well as catching up on certain bills. Happy New Year 2019!

   Happy New Year! It is officially 2019 and it is a perfect time to reflect on this past year and look at goals for the next I mean that's what we do at this time of year right? Well, I'm certainly going to do that because a lot has happened in the last few months and I have so much planned for this year so yes I'd like to take a moment to reflect. I need to give you all an update on what has been going on considering I have been unable to really blog as intended since we moved anyway.    So let's start with the blog. I am very proud of the fact that I kept up with it regularly, sometimes I was a day late and some where shorter than others but I'm really happy with my progress and I plan on going forward with the same schedule, once a week on Wednesdays. New Year Same Me

HAPPY NEW YEAR! At least that's what we say at the beginning of a new year. A lot of people around this time of year are depressed because they just went through the holiday season and were either extremely high from all the excitement and happiness and now that is starting to die down and winter is setting in or they were unable to do anything for the holidays and have just had that extra time to sit and be lonely. Either way going into a new year is rough for many many people and it is really really easy to fall into that winter depression because what is the next huge commercial holiday?
