Happy New Year 2019!

Happy New Year! It is officially 2019 and it is a perfect time to reflect on this past year and look at goals for the next I mean that's what we do at this time of year right? Well, I'm certainly going to do that because a lot has happened in the last few months and I have so much planned for this year so yes I'd like to take a moment to reflect. I need to give you all an update on what has been going on considering I have been unable to really blog as intended since we moved anyway.

So let's start with the blog. I am very proud of the fact that I kept up with it regularly, sometimes I was a day late and some where shorter than others but I'm really happy with my progress and I plan on going forward with the same schedule, once a week on Wednesdays. I want to take this time to thank my readers for being patient as Ron and I move and get settled into our new life it has certainly been a chaotic time in our lives. Going forward with the blog I want to get back to adding more recipes because I've had it requested by quite a few folks. The format will pretty much stay the same but I may occasionally add some research I find interesting because I love to learn and I love to share what I've learned. Switching gears slightly to what the blog is about, our weight loss journey. While we were living in hotels we were unable to eat properly and there was a lot of fast food in our diet and we are definitely feeling the results even now after being able to eat regularly our bodies are still adjusting after months of crappy food. We've gained some weight obviously but we expected to gain a little from the move. We're getting back to it and honestly I feel so much better on Keto as does Ron. It's just so hard to try and be keto when you don't have a kitchen so yeah it's significantly better now that we're in an apartment!

Oh yeah we finally have an apartment! Ok so update on the move, we got out here mid October safely. God truly blessed us because Ron immediately started getting interviews and eventually got a job mid November and shortly after we found an apartment and moved in December 1st! Needless to say the last 3 months have been very chaotic for us trying to get settled but things are somewhat dying down? I question because now it's just a matter of getting used to our new area. We still have a lot to unpack but we have the big furniture in like the living room furniture and our bed. We didn't bring a lot of furniture with us because it was way to expensive to try and ship all of that extra furniture so we donated a lot of stuff; however, that means we now have to replace all that furniture which is definitely a slow process but it's coming along. I really like our new area a lot, there's a lot of greenery considering its southern California. Ron gets to come home for lunch sometimes if he's not having to travel all over for work that day which is very nice. I like getting to eat lunch with hubby.

Moving on to my work stuff I have learned so much in the last year about streaming and broadcasting in the new era. Creating content has just grown in so many ways and there are so many options now. I have started a Patreon for Two Lazy Dogs and I'm so excited for it because I have brought on a few other creators to collab and make awesome content with. Starting off Ron and I now have a podcast called Learning the Law, it is a purely educational podcast in which we focus on various laws that people need to understand because it affects their every day lives. Starting out we'll be discussing Tax law and all the changes with this upcoming season. We have so much more planned for the podcast and we have some tiers available for folks on the Patreon as well. We have some graphics and templates we'll be adding for folks to get access to for help with whatever we address on the podcast. And we also have a tier for people to get a consultation with hubby who is a licensed California attorney. That's just one thing! I am also working with Muzicchik, a fellow streamer and content creator, to create music videos for patrons so this year has some exciting projects lined up. On top of all this we have a lot of exciting things we're working towards in GirlStreamers as well so yeah we ain't slowing down in 2019. We're going in guns a blazing this year! I will continue updating the blog and hope you'll check out all the exciting projects I have coming up!

Oh and one last thing, I'm in negotiations with a podcast to be their producer. I'll talk to the host again Saturday and hopefully we'll get some stuff going for it. If I get the position I'll be bringing them into the video streaming/broadcasting realm. It's been audio only but they want to branch out into the video format so yeah lots of exciting things! Squeeeeee anyway, hope your holidays were good and may God bless your 2019 see you next week!
