Almost 20 lbs down!

So today's blog is probably going to be a short one considering my last week was pretty intense with work. I took the week off from streaming to focus on the documentary I was transcribing and to make time for the nephew since he came out to visit. I had a lovely time with my nephew and so glad I took that time to spend with him. He's 18 months now and he's growing so fast. It's crazy how spending time with this kid is so fulfilling, he's part of the reason I'm ok not having kids. I seriously love this kid so so so very much. I know that I am not a parent but I am a pseudo parent as an aunt and not just any aunt I'm an active one. If I can be half as good as my aunt was I'll be a good aunt. I remember going and doing all the things with Aunt Brenda. She nurtured the creativity in me, she was one of the people who gave me my love of films and the movie making process. She was herself an amazing photographer. She loved life and lived it to the fullest and I want to be just like her. I want to go and spend time with my nephew and take him places and teach him things and nurture those things that he loves. It takes a village to raise a child and even though our village is now all over the country we're still very much involved in each others' lives almost to a fault but I'm so very grateful for such a loving family.

On a health note; today as you know is my weigh in day and I've lost another 2 lbs. I am officially 2 lbs from losing 20 total since starting Keto and I feel great! Yesterday I woke up with a massive migraine and no appetite; not sure what was going on but I felt awful yesterday so the second day back of streaming I had to cancel. I hate when that happens but I feel much better today aside from the random cough I got over the weekend. It's quite annoying actually. I keep having to take cough medicine and cough drops throughout the day. Why do coughs last so long??? Anyway, like I said this is a short post this week there are a lot of things happening for us but I can't talk about them just yet so you'll have to hold on to that tease.

So how were ya'll's weeks? I hope you've had a good week over the July 4th holiday if you're American. I'm also curious if you would like to see more work related posts like reviews and information geared towards games and films? Let me know!
