Craziness

Life has been quite crazy here at the Carlson household. We went to Dragon*Con two weeks and it was awesome. Yes I did gain 2 lbs because we drank and partied but the next week I lost 3lbs so it evened out. We did a lot of film stuff because I wanted to make some connections and it ended up working out really well. I learned a lot about my trade and even got an internship. They're trying me out right now and hopefully it will grow into more! I haven't updated lately because life hasn't slowed down since then. The following week after Dragon*Con I was emailing back and forth with the company and then cleaning up the house and that next weekend my brother had an emergency appendectomy so I had to drive down to the hospital. He's in the military so those calls get scary sometimes but luckily he's stationed fairly close to us and it was only an infection in the appendix. They took it out and he's now recovering and doing well. Anyway, I do have a new recipe that I'm going to post soon including a video. I thought I might take my trade and bring it to the blog I just need to edit it and post it. Look for it within the next couple of days!

     Helloooooo so yeah its been quite some time since I last posted and to be honest I've been really focused on trying to get my work organized. I suffer from poor time management and just poor management in general. I think the last time I posted was sometime in February and as stated then we were going through a lot of crappiness financially and while that has all been resolved we're still recovering from it and trying to get back to saving as well as catching up on certain bills. Life, eh? Needless to say we've been very blessed but very stressed. It has been pretty nice to be back to eating healthier and I'm even doing yoga once a week regularly. Happy New Year 2019!

   Happy New Year! It is officially 2019 and it is a perfect time to reflect on this past year and look at goals for the next I mean that's what we do at this time of year right? Well, I'm certainly going to do that because a lot has happened in the last few months and I have so much planned for this year so yes I'd like to take a moment to reflect. I need to give you all an update on what has been going on considering I have been unable to really blog as intended since we moved anyway.    So let's start with the blog. I am very proud of the fact that I kept up with it regularly, sometimes I was a day late and some where shorter than others but I'm really happy with my progress and I plan on going forward with the same schedule, once a week on Wednesdays. New Year Same Me

HAPPY NEW YEAR! At least that's what we say at the beginning of a new year. A lot of people around this time of year are depressed because they just went through the holiday season and were either extremely high from all the excitement and happiness and now that is starting to die down and winter is setting in or they were unable to do anything for the holidays and have just had that extra time to sit and be lonely. Either way going into a new year is rough for many many people and it is really really easy to fall into that winter depression because what is the next huge commercial holiday? That's right it's Valentine's day and you all know how I feel about that particular one.
